Everything Electric returns to Sydney with a test track to try e-bikes before you buy

Everything Electric is returning to Sydney Showground from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September, with organisers billing it as the biggest edition of the show so far and expecting more than 40,000 visitors across the three days. It is best known for cars, but the show has a direct angle for bike shoppers too.

A test track built for e-bikes and scooters

The show includes a Micro Mobility Test Track where visitors can try e-bikes, scooters and skateboards on the day, with licensed riders also able to sample electric motorcycles. For anyone who has only ever compared e-bikes on spec sheets, it is a chance to actually ride a few back to back before committing to a purchase, something most bike shops cannot offer across multiple brands in one visit.

Part of a much bigger electric vehicle show

E-bikes sit alongside more than 100 electric vehicle models on display, spanning cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and boats. Confirmed car exhibitors include BYD, Cadillac, Chery, Geely, GWM, Hyundai, MG, Polestar and Subaru among others, and there is a separate Home Energy section with exhibitors like Ausgrid, Origin Energy and Amber Electric covering solar, batteries and EV charging.
