Look G85 Cezal RS: a claimed 1,000g frame aimed at gravel racing
Look unveiled the G85 Cezal RS on 6 October 2026, a revised gravel race bike built around a lighter carbon frame. The medium frame is claimed to weigh about 1,000g, around 200g less than the standard G85 Cezal, with bottom bracket stiffness up 19 percent and head tube stiffness up 20 percent.
Frame and fit
Geometry is shared with the existing G85 Cezal, including 425mm chainstays and, on a medium, a 590mm stack and 380mm reach. Tyre clearance is 57mm at the front and 50mm at the rear with a 1x drivetrain, dropping to 45mm at the rear with 2x. Look also lists a T47 bottom bracket, a UDH rear dropout, 12mm thru-axles, 160mm flat-mount disc brakes and a 27.2mm carbon seatpost.
Models and pricing
Prices are in euros. The frameset is EUR 3,290. The SRAM Force XPLR AXS 1x build is EUR 6,990 and weighs 8.3kg. The SRAM Red XPLR AXS 1x build is EUR 8,990 and is claimed at 7.9kg.
The coverage we found gives no ship date and does not mention Australia, so local pricing, stock and timing are unconfirmed.
What it means for buyers
This is a race bike priced like one. If you want a gravel bike for mixed rides and touring, the tyre clearance is the useful part, but the price is a big step up from most gravel bikes sold here. If you are keen, ask a local Look stockist about allocation and an Australian dollar price, since exchange rates and freight will move the euro figures. In the meantime, you can compare gravel bikes on BikeFinder.
