Scott E-Ville: a full suspension commuter e-bike with Bosch CX power

Scott has unveiled the E-Ville for 2027, a full suspension urban e-bike aimed at comfort and practicality, according to road.cc on 15 October. It uses a Bosch Performance Line CX motor rated at up to 100Nm and a removable Bosch PowerTube battery.

Two models

The E-Ville 10 SUV has an 800Wh battery and a 120mm RockShox Recon Silver RL fork, and is priced at 4,999 pounds in the UK. The E-Ville 20 has a 720Wh battery and a 100mm SR Suntour XCM34 air fork, priced at 4,299 pounds. Both have 100mm of rear travel and 60mm (2.35 inch) tyres, with all terrain rubber on the 10 SUV and urban tyres on the 20. Both are engineered for a maximum weight of 160kg.

Australian availability

Road.cc does not give a release date, and the prices above are UK figures. Scott has not confirmed Australian pricing or timing in the sources we reviewed, so treat any local numbers you see before an official announcement with caution.

What it means for buyers

The E-Ville suits people who want a comfortable commuter or all rounder rather than a mountain bike. Once local pricing is confirmed, compare it on BikeFinder against similar Bosch powered urban and trekking e-bikes, looking at battery size, suspension travel, display and warranty, not just the headline price.
