Specialized releases a gold Remco Evenepoel S-Works Tarmac SL9, only 100 made, $21,500 in Australia

Specialized released the S-Works Tarmac SL9 LTD Remco Evenepoel on 22 September 2026. Only 100 numbered bikes will be made worldwide. The paint is a metallic gold that fades into white, a tribute to the rider.

BikeRadar lists SRAM Red AXS 12 speed with a power meter, Roval Rapide Sprint CLX carbon wheels (63mm front, 58mm rear) and 30mm Specialized Cotton tubeless tyres. Claimed weight is 6.78kg in a size 56.

Price and availability in Australia

The Australian price is $21,500. That compares with US$14,999, 12,999 pounds in the UK and 14,999 euros in Europe, according to BikeRadar. It is sold through Specialized's website and stores, and BikeRadar says it is likely to be available for only a very limited time. One Australian retailer listing showed sizes 52, 54 and 56 available to order when checked.

What it means for buyers

At this price the paint and the numbered edition are a big part of what you are paying for. Standard Tarmac models use much of the same frame technology for far less money.
