Super73 now sells direct in Australia, and the bikes are configured to be street legal here
Super73, the Californian brand behind the moped-styled fat tyre e-bike that built a following on social media before it built one on the road, sells direct to Australian buyers through its own storefront at super73.com.au, with stock dispatched from Sydney.
What the Australian range looks like
The local line-up spans three families. The Z-Series sits at the entry point, with the Z Miami Special Edition listed from $3,990 and the ZX Special Edition at $4,490. The S-Series, pitched as the urban model, starts at $5,990. The R-Series, the larger touring platform, runs from $7,290 for the R Adventure Special Edition up to $7,990. All of them carry the fat tyre, moped-inspired look the brand is known for, plus a removable battery and an onboard display for speed and range.
Why the compliance detail matters
Super73's US bikes have a reputation for running well past what counts as a bicycle under Australian law. The Australian site is explicit that this range is different: it states that every Super73 sold through super73.com.au is EN 15194 certified and configured to be street legal in Australia. That certification is the same standard state transport departments and the ACCC keep pointing to, and it is the thing to check before buying any imported e-bike, not just this one.
